Background
Mike Lives in Hayle and is Football Development Officer and 1st team Coach for Hayle Football Club. Mike is also lead Coach for Plymouth Argyle Centre of Excellence at Brannel and U11 and U12 lead Coach at PAFC Elite Hub at Penryn. I am a UEFA ‘B’ Licensed Coach and are completing the new FA modules in specific 5-11 years training. I have completed my Goalkeeping and Sports Psychology level 1 . I am First Aid Trained with DBS and Safe Guarding Children.
I have been in Cornwall now for about Fifteen years now and there is no better place to enjoy with my wife and two kids. I have been involved in football all my life and have met some of the greatest players in the world. I believe that football has so many challenges for kids and developing them is so important. Developing a safe environment and delivering suitable training for each age group is vitally important as coaching each age group can be very different.
I have taught from the ages of 4 to 16. This can be 4 years that have never kicked a ball or even been entered into a class environment, to the best in the County for Plymouth Argyle. This can be very challenging as all groups have different needs and abilities.
